Ethical Fashion Initiative
The Ethical Fashion Initiative, as part of the United Nations, works with artisans in the textile sector to preserve their knowledge and connect them with luxury fashion brands. I was hired to curate their textile collection from Burkina Faso and Mali, creating mood boards used to present the collection to fashion clients, so that they could see the possibilities to create pieces in their collections with artisans. The Ethical Fashion Initiative works with brands such as Marni, Vivienne Westwood, United Arrows, and Brother Wellies.
